We started back in 1994 as a group who wanted to stop the degradation on Big Stone Lake... At the time Big stone was always pea green with large algal blooms, used as a cattle pond for many different ranchers, and was only getting worse. The group's first major accomplishment was helping in creating a two mile setback for any new feedlots around the lake on the MN side. We also created AIS signs at accesses,
